TED GRADISHER PRODUCTION MANAGER
Ted has been with Fool’s Gold since June of 2004. Auditioning as a cast member, Ted volunteered his spare time as a production assistant to try to learn more about the entertainment industry. Given more responsibility as time went on, he became Production Manager in July of 2004. He took control of promotion and marketing for Circle Track Summer in October of 2004 and has been in these dual roles for the company ever since.
Ted was in the printing industry for 17 years. A car accident, in which Ted and his wife, Christine, were hit head-on in October of 1998, made him seek other employment. Driving a truck for 6 years gave him plenty of time to brush up on his stand-up comedy material. After his first night on stage, which he bombed, he got back up two weeks later after much coaching from his mentor, and nationally known comedian, Mike Veneman. After nailing his routine, he heard Mike say five words that would make him stick with comedy, “You’re going to go far”. Mike has been an inspiration and a huge help to him ever since.
After the dust settles from Circle Track Summer, Ted plans to continue with marketing, promotion, managing and public relations with his own company, EM Productions. Born and raised in Barberton, Ohio, Ted now resides in Kent, Ohio with his wife Christine, who is also a production assistant and make-up artist with Fool’s Gold. He has two step children, Rachel and Scott. They also have a dog, Chi-Chi, that is a big part of the family. |
